Criteria for admission to the programme and training outcome
Normally, applicants will be required to attend an interview. Where this is not feasible, e.g. for overseas students, interviews may be undertaken via telephone or Skype. The interview will seek to confirm that applicants possess a breadth of understanding of both theoretical and practical formulation through prior learning. Places on the programme will be offered on the basis of the applicants’ background, qualifications and where appropriate, experiences. The programme is designed to offer flexibility to meet the needs of the participant’s placement or career. One way this is evidenced is the programme structure which allows the participants to specialise (the future indicator of quality control and development of the industry). The modular nature of the programme facilitates three possible exit routes courses (on requirements) : certificate, diploma, PG Certificate PG Diploma and Masters of Science (MSc).
